CLAIRTON

Clairton is a small city with a rich history and a tight-knit residential community of around 6,200 people. It is located along the Monongahela river at the eastern terminus of the Montour Trail, an easy car ride away from downtown Pittsburgh. The community boast a robust civic infrastructure, several strong local businesses, and a historic, walkable downtown that, despite population and economic decline during the late twentieth century, is well poised for development that benefits local residents.
